Do You "Hate School"?

I am not sure if you sent this request to join a chat group to me or not--the internet can play many tricks. BUT if you did want to chat about "I Hate School", I would like to suggest that you not do that.

You see, when we talk about what bothers us, especially when a bunch of people get together and talk about what bothers them, the 'BOTHERS' just grow bigger and bigger in our heads. They will only make us to be more unhappy and cause us trouble and stop us from having blessings that Jesus wants us to have.
Do you remember how the Children of Israel always grumbled and complained whatever happened? Well it just got them in a LOT of trouble, and God was not able to bless them.
 
God wants to bless each of us, but He needs us to learn NOT to grumble and complain, even when it seems we have BIG problems. Instead He wants us to pray to Him and talk only to Him about our problems, because HE can and will help us with them, and other people cannot help us at all.
 
What ever you have to deal with in school, do your best and pray for Jesus to help you. Take a look at what you can learn that will be a help to you and work hard to learn it. We always enjoy doing what we can do well, so if there is something you hate doing, and it is something that needs to be done, practice and try and pray until you can do it well and you will find great joy and happiness.
 
If you join a group of Grumble-tones and grumble away, all you will do is get so that all you are good for is grumbling and Satan will be at your side all the time to torment you and use you to cause others to do wrong too. You SURE don't want that! I am telling you what I have learned and practice myself, so I know it is true.
 
I love you a whole lot and I want you to be what Jesus wants you to be, because I know that is the only way anyone is ever really happy!

How to Learn to be a Missionary

I just currently feel that I am called to be a  missionary.. I don't know how to start..  But then I found this website..  It such a big help!

May God Bless you much as you study and learn.

To learn to be a missionary, first you study God's Truth and seek Him with all your heart. As you get to know Him personally for yourself, He will guide you. Always ask Jesus to send the Holy Spirit to help you learn and understand as you read and study, and He will certainly do it.

Another thing a Missionary does is to learn to do the little tasks that are around you in your home and school, and do them cheerfully, faithfully and well. You can always ask Jesus to help you, especially for things you find hard.

Wearing Jewelry

Question:  Is is wrong to wear jewelry, I wear earrings (recently pierced) as an adventist and I have never seen anything wrong with it. I do not believe that it is a sign of a spiritual breakdown which has been said to me by certain church members. Can you tell me what is the real issue with jewelry? and will I lose my soul if I continue to wear my earrings?.

I will list a few facts here also that you seem not to be aware of:
1. We are living in the last bit of time and need to be preparing a character to be ready when probation closes, and it closes first for Adventists! We need to be decorating our characters with Christian graces not ornamenting our bodies like a Christmas tree.
 
2. In the day of atonement people were to afflict their souls and humble their hearts, anyone wearing jewelry at that time would be cut off from Israel. We are in the antitypical day of atonement now. Decorating your body is a sign of pride and cultivates pride. The Holy Spirit will only guide and lead the very humble soul.
 
3. God's people were forbidden to pierce or mark their bodies; this was heathen devil-worship practice. Leviticus 19:28 .

Cutting or piercing a body part and putting a ring in it means it is dedicated to heathen gods which are demons. YOU may not know that or mean it that way--but SATAN does know it and he takes full advantage.

So now, dear friend, like it or not--your ears are dedicated to hearing the devil's counsel and not the Holy Spirit. You will no doubt think this is exaggerated but I assure you it is not. The problem is that SDAs have been living so long with sin that it no longer seems sinful to them; they are quite comfortable with demon company. This is what happened with Israel as they began gradually to imitate the heathen, until they saw nothing wrong with offering their children to heathen gods. Israel was finally divorced from God. SDA are going the same way.

The ring is a symbol of the sun-god who, of course, was really Satan.

 4. To bluntly answer you question regarding salvation: My friend, I verily say unto thee, ye MUST be born again. Anyone truly born again and controlled by the Holy Spirit and fully surrendered to Jesus would not even consider getting ears pierced and wearing jewelry! Anyone NOT truly surrendered and born again, will be lost when probation closes and will receive the 7 last plagues.
 
  "I was shown the conformity of some professed Sabbath-keepers to the world. Oh, I saw that it is a disgrace to their profession, a disgrace to the cause of God. They give the lie to their profession. They think they are not like the world, but they are so near like them in dress, in conversation, and actions, that there is no distinction. I saw them decorating their poor mortal bodies, which are liable at any moment to be touched by the finger of God, and laid upon a bed of anguish. Oh, then, as they approach their last change, mortal anguish racks their frames, and the great inquiry then is, "Am I prepared to die? prepared to appear before God in judgment, and pass the grand review?" 

"Ask them then how they feel about decorating their bodies, and if they have any sense of what it is to be prepared to appear before God, they will tell you that if they could take back and live over the past, they would correct their lives, shun the follies of the world, its vanity, its pride, and would adorn the body with modest apparel, and set an example to all around them. They would live to the glory of God. 

"Why is it so hard to lead a self-denying, humble life? Because professed Christians are not dead to the world. It is easy living after we are dead. But many are longing for the leeks and onions of Egypt. They have a disposition to dress and act as much like the world as possible, and yet go to heaven. Such climb up some other way. They do not enter through the strait gate and narrow way. . . . 

"Such will have no excuse. Many dress like the world to have an influence. But here they make a sad and fatal mistake. If they would have a true and saving influence, let them live out their profession, show their faith by their righteous works, and make the distinction great between the Christian and the world. I saw that the words, the dress, and actions should tell for God. Then a holy influence will be shed upon all, and all will take knowledge of them that they have been with Jesus. Unbelievers will see that the truth we profess has a holy influence, and that faith in Christ's coming affects the character of the man or woman. If any wish to have their influence tell in favor of the truth, let them live it out, and thus imitate the humble Pattern."  {MYP 127-128.}

Friend, the world and its fashions is soon to pass away forever. I urge you seek the Lord with ALL your heart. Humble your heart and make a full surrender--you NEED to be fully converted! I want to see you on the sea of glass! Jesus paid a terrible price to redeem you from sin and Satan's power, why will you play with the enemy and insult your Saviour?? "Turn ye, for why will ye die Oh house of Israel?" (Ezekiel 33:11)
 
May God guide you to truth and save you!
[By the Way, if you take the rings or studs out of your ears they may heal up again to normal! Maybe if you ask forgiveness and ask Jesus for help, He may heal them. Either way at least put nothing more in them, you sure do not want your ears dedicated to cruel old Satan!]  =^..^=

  I want to share an adventure I had not all that long ago. I was traveling by car a long distance, and as you know on the big highways they have places every so often where you can stop, use a washroom and rest, get fuel, buy junk food  and so on. Well I was not interested in their junk food but was heading through the crowds to reach the ladies room, when i came face to face with the strangest looking young man! He was not real tall, around my own height and was dressed all in black. His skin was as white as chalk, very unhealthy, and his face was just covered with piercings and rings and studs every possible place! There were dozens of them!

My reaction was pity, because he looked like someone who had had something blow up in his face spattering him with bits of metal! It was shocking! His reaction to me was amazing too; He looked like he was scared to death of me! Very quickly he turned and disappeared into the crowd. He must have been some sort of Satan-worshipper. I have seen that terror reaction in folk like that before! But it made me think of how blest we are to serve a loving Savior, rather than a cruel devil who would have us disfigure our faces like that!
